2026 Northpine Foundation Squash The Barriers Scholarship
At the conclusion of each school year every UST high school student has the opportunity to earn the Squash The Barriers Scholarship, founded by the Northpine Foundation.
Students can receive $2,500 per year, up to $10,000 over four years, by staying engaged in the program, maintaining their grades, showing up to training and tutoring, and giving back to the UST community. Funds go directly toward tuition, textbooks, housing, and other academic costs once a student is accepted into post-secondary education.
During our 2026 Graduation Ceremony, UST is proud to have awarded $97,500 in Squash The Barriers Scholarships to our students.

New Balance Foundation Awards $100,000 USD To UST

UST has received a $100,000 USD (~$140,000 CAD) grant from New Balance Foundation to invest in young people through education, sport, mentorship, and leadership development. The gift will strengthen UST's year-round programming, expanding access to academic tutoring, squash instruction, leadership opportunities, and wellness programming for students in the Jane & Finch community.
